One Kiuas per selected quantity, in your chosen finish. Each block contains an NFC tag and an embedded magnet. It needs no battery or charging.

The alarm and focus features work with the Onni iPhone app. Your iPhone still needs power.

Set your alarm in the Onni iPhone app and place the Kiuas in another room. When it rings, get up and hold the top of your iPhone close to the block to stop it. There is no snooze button.

You can also choose distracting apps in Onni, then scan the Kiuas to start a focus session.

You choose your distracting apps in Onni. Add essentials such as Maps and Messages to your always-allowed list, then scan the Kiuas to start focus.

For a regular session, scan again to pause or stop. Extra strict sessions end at your chosen time and cannot be stopped by a scan; scanned pauses and emergency tokens are available.

The Kiuas puts a physical step between you and your distractions. Keep it away from your bed to get up in the morning, or across the room to make returning to your apps a deliberate choice during a regular focus session.

3D-printed from wood-fibre filament — Black Walnut or Classic Birch tone — with an NFC chip and a magnet embedded inside. Printed one at a time in the Netherlands; the grain makes every block slightly unique.

Ships from the Netherlands within 2–3 working days. Delivery across the EU.

Try the Kiuas for 30 days. If it is not for you, return it for a refund. Return shipping is paid by you. Read the return policy.

Rescue tokens in Onni let you stop an alarm when you cannot reach your block.

( Your attention, with Onni )

Keep your phone. Lose the pull.

Block the apps that pull you in. Keep the ones you need. Onni works with the Kiuas — a small wooden block — to make focus a physical choice.

  1. 01

    Choose what gets blocked

Select distracting apps in Onni. Put essentials like Maps and Messages on your always-allowed list.

  2. 02

    Scan to start focus

Hold the top of your iPhone close to the Kiuas. Your selected distractions are now blocked.

  3. 03

    Come back with intention

Leave the block somewhere else. For a regular session, scan it again to pause or stop — a small step before the next scroll.

Regular sessions, strict sessions and emergency access

Regular sessions can be paused or stopped with a Kiuas scan. Extra strict sessions run until your chosen end time and cannot be stopped by a scan; scanned pauses and emergency tokens are available. Scheduled rules follow their own timing.

Why a block, rather than another button?

The Kiuas puts a physical step between an impulse and opening an app. You choose where that step lives: by your desk, in the kitchen or across the room. The block needs no battery or charging.
